C.L.E.A.N.E.R is a bill ready to be proposed to the floor of the U.S. Congress, the first in a series of landmark actions to achieve the 12 year timeline that the UN, World Health Organization, and the International Panel on Climate Change to avoid catastrophic, life endangering, and near apocalyptic conditions that the world will come to unless action is taken.

71% of carbon generation is made by only 100 companies across the world, and 10 countries.
The United States is one of the top producers of carbon emissions, being the 2nd highest out of the ten countries that produce 71% of all greenhouse gas contributions. While other countries may have taxes on carbon per tonne, the United States is lacking.
Nobel Prize winner William Nordhaus, a Yale professor and MIT graduate, won the prestigious prize for a simple, single suggestion: impose a $40 tax per tonne of carbon.
For reference, this would mean one thing:
The average person would pay an additional $280 in taxes on gas per year.
Most people struggle to afford taxes as is, and the people behind C.L.E.A.N.E.R understand this.
For reference, Nordhaus’ tax would mean one thing:
The average person would pay an additional $280 in taxes on gas per year. For more of our plans, and how we hope to prevent this issue, please visit our Mission Statement page.
